Hmm...I agree with you, it's really beautiful. On the other hand, 200 seems like a lot, primarily because I'm not the person who actually sits down and talks on the phone. But on the other hand, I'm guessing you're using it more as a filler piece, or perhaps an entryway piece where people could sit to remove shoes and the like.
Bottom line: I think it's gorgeous, but I don't think I'd pay 200. Can you get them down to $150 or $125?
I agree with Rachel on this. I love that it is very unusual, but that is a good chunk of change. But, I have figured out that if you can't stop thinking about it, I would go ahead and get it!
I agree with Rach, I'd bargain down, especially if you have to re-upholster it to fit your decor.
I actually went to an antique mall this weekend and saw the same type of chair and in pretty good condition for $150.
