S's Turn in the Spotlight

Just thought S needed some camera time. Here are a few of her favorite things.

S's first ice cream cone

S playing hide and seek with her dad. It's her all-time favorite game.

S's new bike trailer. She loves riding fast and spending time with N.

Silly M

So what do you do late at night when your son won't go to sleep? You take silly pictures! (Actually, these were taken during the lull between bath and bedtime, but we're so tired everything seems to be late at night now.)

M rockin' out.

Shhhh! Don't tell S that M was riding her bike.

Sader Babers

S enjoyed being the center of attention for several weeks as a steady stream of relatives came to visit. Even with the new baby vying for attention, S proved a quite popular companion.

Pictures of S while swimming with Grandpa.

Here is S in Madera Canyon, hiking with the C family. (Those are Aunt Sarah's feet!)

The Woes of M

M leads a pretty quiet life, that is until his father gets home. The following is M protesting loudly against his father trying to take a nasty picture to send to his Uncle John.

And here is M being teased with a balloon by his dad. He patiently put up with the first few attempts to make his hair stand on end, but finally he decided that enough was enough!

Madoc's Entry Into the World

M was born on the ninth of July, weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. He's quite a pleasant baby, although his mother wishes he wouldn't wake up quite so often at night. S is already his number one fan and definitely deserves the title of World's Best Big Sister. It is her absolute right to hold his pacifier during diaper changes and she gives him "love'ns" every chance she gets. I'm sure he'll appreciate her exuberant hugs and kisses one of these days.

The Grand Kickoff

Due to popular demand (and because sometimes they drive us nuts), we're putting our children on the internet (so that they can drive you nuts too). As soon as I figure out how to put sound on this page, I am going to serenade you all with M's squawking. Then you can participate in the poll of the animal it most resembles. The current top three are...

  1. Screech Owl
  2. Raccoon trapped in a dumpster
  3. Velociraptor

In the meantime, you can enjoy him without sound and at a time of day that you are already awake - he's much more pleasant that way.

M's co-star on this page is his delightful big sister, S, who is an absolute angel as long as she has 124.6% of your attention. S's latest development is the ability to memorize every one of her library books before they have to go back. It is hard to keep a straight face as she reads her own bedtime story and recites word for word What Bounces?

So, without further overexplanation... I present the Crapo Stars.
