Sadie graduated from Kindergarten on May 18th. I had no idea it would be such a big deal - it's only Kindergarten after all! But the whole elementary came to watch, plus the kids walked with their 8th grade buddies. Whole families turned out to watch with flowers and balloons in tow. And apparently everyone checks out early and goes to lunch afterwards. So Sadie came home at eleven and we picked up McDonald's on the way home.

Congratulations on her first year done! I didn't realize they even give them caps to wear.

What a happy graduation event! Its nice that they make a big deal of it. It gives the little graduates such a sense of accomplishment. Hooray for Sadie!
