The Woes of Being Six

This is a girl whose life is in danger. In her words, she's dying from homework. Apparently, one complication of death by homework is that you can simultaneously die from salad. I had no idea six year olds could be so melodramatic - or that lettuce could be so cruel.

When her brother spilled his water and some of it splashed on her she went wicked witch of the west on us and started screaming about her brother making her life horrible. Her pouting and inarticulate growls had us entertained through the first half of dinner.

I don't think she was as amused as we were.

i can totally see her complaining about salad and homework, and then getting upset at Madoc. She is such a spirited girl.

Oh poor girl. I read something about young kids getting stressed out more now than ever before. It must be the salads.

Someone got some sun! Her hair is turning the same color as mine, but without the red tint. Love it. Beautiful girl with a summer glow.

It is hard to grow up. I recall Neil going through a trial with beef stew one time. He could just not be happy. Thankfully, he grew out of it...I think.
