Baking with Madoc

Last month Madoc helped me make graham crackers for a surprise for Sadie. We tried a new recipe from my cousin. I liked it better than my recipe because it didn't call for shortening. Madoc had a good time with the cookie cutters. He and I thought they were pretty tasty but Sadie didn't care for them. Apparently she no longer likes graham crackers.

I have never made graham crackers before. What a fun idea. Madoc looks so old in those pictures.

I'm glad he likes making stuff to eat in the kitchen. Soon, he will be old enough to learn the finer points of making pies and other "gourmet" foods. He looks so happy, he must have a great mom.

Madoc looks so proud of having his name spelled out in graham crackers. His snack tray looks delicious with the addition of the apples. Wish I could have been there to eat that delicious snack with him!

I love how he is cheesin'. Funny how I try to hit the "like" button on other comments. Madoc gets an A+ from me. Great job Madoc!

I didn't even know you could make them. You might have to share your recipe...
